THE GOTHAMIST + THE RED SOX

It's a new 'normal'. Things I never thought I would ever see in my lifetime........the traditonal rivalry between Boston and New York is suspended after the Marathon tragedy......when bad things happen, it seems to bring out the best in people - that's what's happened here in Boston. First responders + ordinary citizens - ran to help people on Boylston Street instead of running away to save themselves. People spoke of it at the Memorial service here today, attended by President Obama.

NY Loves Boston:

Messages Of Support

Light Up From Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Academy of Music was illuminated with messages of support projected in light on the exterior of the building. It is so cool. The 'B" is the same font used by the Red Sox. Read more about it in The Gothamist.
