MARATHON MONDAY 2018

"Listen my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five:
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year."

It's Marathon Monday here in Boston, 33 degrees, really feels like 24 degrees and pouring rain ! It's coming down in buckets. It rained out the Red Sox game to be made up in May. The Sox are doing great; best start in franchise history I think. We sit on top of the Eastern division :)  My neighbor gave me a contact, a friend of hers who might buy one of my paintings. Just got busier.

The Boston Marathon is now tinged with melancholy and sadness due to the Marathon Bombing in 2013. The Red Sox game started with a special ceremony on the field before Friday's game. There we saw some survivors, some with no legs, some with prosthetic legs and the first responders.....

It's pouring buckets as I said but that is not stopping our fearless runners, neither freezing cold or freezing rain is deterring these hardly folks with well functioning immune systems.
