MORE SIGNS OF SPRING

PINK BLOOMS AT THE FRENCH CHATEAU PALACE ON BEACON ST.

It's a short window from winter and naked trees to spring flowers -
 if you blink you missed it. This year it happened in a week.

It's starting to turn into a park in Brookline which is fortunate to have so many trees plus the enlightened urban landscape design by Frederick Law Olmstead. I really should go and visit the Olmstead house in Brookline. You can see all the different color greens we get at this time of year - this is real Spring green which goes away in a few weeks. Some yellow-green, varying shades until it all settles into one darker green color.
